Annual Safety Cruise -Schwitter Landing
April 18 - April 20
Be aware the the outer dock is not accessible since the connector was washed away in a winter storm. It’s possible that rafting might be required. Call on VHF 72 prior to arriving for coordination and assistance with docking.
Friday Afternoon: Meet and greet on the dock with appetizers and cocktails. Sometime during the evening there will be a safety trivia quiz. Of course, we’ll check navigation lights after dark.
Saturday: A vessel safety check will be offered. Plan on a crew overboard drill. A short presentation on reference materials for trip planning (see below). Obviously, an Easter egg hunt followed by a potluck dinner in the evening.
Sunday: Potluck breakfast before departure.
