DESCRIPTION:July 3 anchor at Sandy Island\, across the river from Kalama. Enter from the upriver side to Hunter Bar (45°59.772’N\, 122°51.940’W). \nJuly 4 at Elochman Marina in Cathlamet. \nJuly 5 at Ilwaco Marina. \nJuly 6 across the Columbia River bar to Grays Harbor-Westport Marina. \nJuly 7 stay the day in Westport. \nJuly 8 depart Westport for a return to Ilwako. \nJuly 9 at Cathlamet. \nJuly 10 at Longview YC. \nJuly 11 St Helens Sand Island. \nJuly 12 your home dock. \nCrossing the bar will be weather dependent. Last year for example we crossed the bar and returned within the same day. \nAs in past downriver cruises\, not everyone had the time to for the whole trip and peeled off. For others continuing it was very casual and destinations were by consensus.

Then we have to practice tying them!
